Three very intentional words drive our mission here at Love God Greatly…
Inspire.
Encourage.
Equip.
This week on the blog we’re dedicating three days to these three words, and you’re invited! Whether you’ve been around these parts for a long time, or you’re brand new to LGG, we want to take time before our next online Bible study begins to share our passion behind our mission, as well as to invite YOU to begin building community around you by facilitating our next study in God’s Word with the amazing women in your life.
On Monday, we talked about our mission to INSPIRE women to make God’s Word a priority in their daily lives, and we asked you to prayerfully consider becoming an LGG Facilitator!

Today we’re focusing in on Part TWO of our mission. Love God Greatly exists to:
|ENCOURAGE| women in their daily walks with God through an online community and personal accountability.
This is where our Love God Greatly Facilitators SHINE!
What is the role of an LGG Facilitator?
- She invites women in her life to study with her throughout one of our Love God Greatly Bible study sessions (we think 5-12 women to a group is ideal, but recommend no more than 25).
- She engages with her group Monday-Friday by posting the daily verses on the technology platform of the group’s choice (private Facebook and WhatsApp groups, emailing, and texting are popular choices, but we encourage you to use what works for YOU).
- She models a study environment for her group members by sharing what she is learning on a daily basis as she digs into God’s Word.
- She encourages the women in her group to follow her lead and share their daily study observations and personal applications.
- She prays for her group members and encourages them to pray for each other as well.
- She shares personal joys and challenges, offering a safe, supportive place for her group to do the same.
- She facilitates with love, humility, and compassion, consistently pointing women back to God and His Word.
- She utilizes the beauty of connecting online for inspiration and accountability and takes opportunities to gather her group in person when she can (for local groups we recommend a fun, in-person meet-up at least once per study!).
- She partners with a co-facilitator (recommended) for personal support and back-up when needed.

The Bible has a whole lot to say about ENCOURAGING others, and becoming an LGG Facilitator is the perfect opportunity to do just that!
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but ENCOURAGING one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” – Hebrews 10:25
“He died for us so that, whether awake or asleep, we may live together with Him. Therefore ENCOURAGE one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:10-11
“And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, ENCOURAGE the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:14
“But ENCOURAGE one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.” – Hebrews 3:13
Two things: God’s Word + Authentic Relationships
We see it modeled throughout Scripture and here at Love God Greatly we know this to be true: when we gather together in unity as the body of Christ to speak truth and life into our relationships, iron sharpens iron, our hope increases, and Christ is exalted. God’s Word + authentic relationships = a powerful force for the gospel!!
Is becoming an LGG Facilitator an investment? Absolutely.
Is it worth it? More than we may ever know…

For any lady with the gift of Exhortation and you have a passion to encourage the women of God to go deeper in His Word, then becoming a Facilitator is for you! (the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness. Romans 12:8)
I was part of the LGG groups for some time and then I became a Facilitator and in that time I have encouraged other women to go on and become Facilitators of their own groups and to see them actually do that is amazing and rewarding and it’s the effect of prayers and also stepping up and out in the gift that God has given me.
I also had a mentor too, which helped with the challenging times of the study (there were some, not many but some) and she helped me put things into perspective and to carry on.
So sign up whilst you still have time, or definitely join up on the next time around and watch how God will move in your life and the lives of the women in your group and God will show you things about yourself that you never knew were there.
Be blessed
Verona
LGG Facilitator
I am so glad I decided to become a Facilitator and Mentor with Love God Greatly! I co-facilitate with another woman and it’s been such an awesome opportunity for growth. Not only in my walk with Christ, but also in growing loving, truthful, and heartfelt relationships with women from all over the Country. It has enriched my ability to share, encourage, equip, and inspire other women, and has taught me how to allow them to give me the same. God totally blessed me with this amazing opportunity, and I strongly encourage anyone who is even thinking about becoming a facilitator to do it! I am so thankful for the awesome and beautiful friendships I have been able to build through this ministry. Thank you to Angela and each one of the ladies at Love God Greatly for your diligence, hard work, dedication and faithfulness in continuing to make these studies possible!
This is interesting timing for me as I’ve been praying for God to provide a way for me to do His work. I really have a heart for missions but with 3 young teens I’m not in a position to travel to another country. I want to be a vessel for God as I feel he’s calling me to be. Strangely enough, I don’t get the LGG emails super often yet these facilitator emails are coming on through. I’m intrigued.
Oh, Jennifer…I completely hear your heart and am right there with you when it comes to feeling a pull to do mission work but just not being able to at the moment! Being a facilitator is an awesome way to be able to reach out and share with and help others who you may not have ever met in any other situation! Also, the facilitator group that you get to join once you become one is an amazing group of women who are always there to help and encourage each other! It sounds to me like God is already pulling on your heart to join! So I’ll go ahead and say welcome!! 🙂
This ministry has been a great blessing to me and to those involved in our group! We do a Facebook group which works very well for us. Unfortunately, we are located all across the USA with one dear sister in Nigeria! I “inherited ” the initial group from another facilitator whose life changed radically when her military husband was moved across the country! So here I am, a retired pastor’s wife, who deals with chronic pain daily but loves serving the beautiful Savior of my soul, Jesus Christ! When I was younger and several surgical procedures ago, I was able to run a large children’s church, serve in the church office, sing in the choir, and interpret music for the deaf. All that is past, and God has given me an opportunity like no other to encourage women to get into God’s Word, to share their hearts with one another, and to pray for each other. I have tried to let the ladies know what our course of study will be like logistically so they know that the next day’s post will be ready for their SOAP’s and when I will remove things that have been posted so our page doesn’t get cluttered with too many weeks for ease of finding things. Some can’t post everyday so I decided they can post two or three days out of the week so they don’t feel overwhelmed. It’s interesting that once I decided to let that happen, they seem to be doing a post every day! If I notice that someone isn’t posting, I contact her by iMessage, encouraging her to join in. Some have expressed problems in their lives, some just need a little boost! Like Jesus, we need to keep watch out for that one needy sheep who wanders off! I “advertised” on my personal Facebook page and have gotten four new ladies who have never done an LGG study before! Thanks to all those who had a vision of what God could do, even through older, infirmed ladies like me, to reach out with the Good News that Jesus loves them and has completely paid for their sins, and they can have a new life in Him! Hallelujah!
Thank you for your comment!! I have prayed and read reach of the info emails that has come through and went ahead today and signed up to be a facilitator!! I’m super excited! Thank you for all the wonderful encouragement!! I’m not sure what the next steps are but I am excited to see how God is going to work.
