Three very intentional words drive our mission here at Love God Greatly…
Inspire.
Encourage.
Equip.
This week on the blog we’re dedicating three days to these three words, and you’re invited! Whether you’ve been around these parts for a long time, or you’re brand new to LGG, we want to take time before our next online Bible study begins to share our passion behind our mission, as well as to invite YOU to begin building community around you by facilitating our next study in God’s Word with the amazing women in your life.
Yesterday, we talked about our mission to INSPIRE women to make God’s Word a priority in their daily lives, and we asked you to prayerfully consider becoming an LGG Facilitator!

Today we’re focusing in on Part TWO of our mission. Love God Greatly exists to:
|ENCOURAGE| women in their daily walks with God through an online community and personal accountability.
This is where our Love God Greatly Facilitators SHINE!
What is the role of an LGG Facilitator?
- She invites women in her life to study with her throughout one of our Love God Greatly Bible study sessions (we think 5-12 women to a group is ideal, but recommend no more than 25).
- She engages with her group Monday-Friday by posting the daily verses on the technology platform of the group’s choice (private Facebook and WhatsApp groups, emailing, and texting are popular choices, but we encourage you to use what works for YOU).
- She models a study environment for her group members by sharing what she is learning on a daily basis as she digs into God’s Word.
- She encourages the women in her group to follow her lead and share their daily study observations and personal applications.
- She prays for her group members and encourages them to pray for each other as well.
- She shares personal joys and challenges, offering a safe, supportive place for her group to do the same.
- She facilitates with love, humility, and compassion, consistently pointing women back to God and His Word.
- She utilizes the beauty of connecting online for inspiration and accountability and takes opportunities to gather her group in person when she can (for local groups we recommend a fun, in-person meet-up at least once per study!).
- She partners with a co-facilitator (recommended) for personal support and back-up when needed.

The Bible has a whole lot to say about ENCOURAGING others, and becoming an LGG Facilitator is the perfect opportunity to do just that!
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but ENCOURAGING one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” – Hebrews 10:25
“He died for us so that, whether awake or asleep, we may live together with Him. Therefore ENCOURAGE one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:10-11
“And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, ENCOURAGE the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:14
“But ENCOURAGE one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.” – Hebrews 3:13
Two things: God’s Word + Authentic Relationships
We see it modeled throughout Scripture and here at Love God Greatly we know this to be true: when we gather together in unity as the body of Christ to speak truth and life into our relationships, iron sharpens iron, our hope increases, and Christ is exalted. God’s Word + authentic relationships = a powerful force for the gospel!!
Is becoming an LGG Facilitator an investment? Absolutely.
Is it worth it? More than we may ever know…

Our next online Bible study…SOLD OUT begins on June 12th!
(Both our women’s study journal and corresponding kid’s journal are now available on Amazon!)

Hi! I’m a missionary in Brazil. What resources are available for the next study in Portuguese? Will the next study be dependent on the blog posts or study journal and are these available in Portuguese?
Hi sweet friend! Can you email me at [email protected] so we can put you in touch with our lead translator? ?
I currently co-facilitate a group on Facebook. I love the relationships that have blossomed through our group. Even though I have never met my co-facilitator face to face, we have become like best friends. We have established some beautiful friendships with some of the ladies in the group as well. It is such a great feeling to know that when we request prayer, or see the requests of others that we are truly being prayed for. Being able to openly and honestly share our praises and the trials and storms of life and know that they will stay within the group is absolutely amazing. Becoming a Love God Greatly Facilitator has been such a blessing and has allowed me to grow so much in my walk with the Lord. I am so very grateful for this ministry!
Awe you are such a blessing! We are so glad to have you.
I would like more information on how to become a facilitator, please.

Hi Ladies, I so thankful to have stumbled across Love God Greatly some time ago. After participating in several studies, I felt the heart tug to facilitate a group and it has been such a blessing. It is indeed an investment of time but it’s a wonderful way to be accountable with studying God’s Word and gleaning from other women in the community. My group using a Google+ group and it has proven to be a good tool for me as I’m not one who using FB frequently. For anyone considering being a facilitator, I encourage you to give it a try. LGG ministry does a wonderful job of equipping you with the tools you need to have a successful group study.

Hello chiming in from New Jersey ! I’ve actually lead a single moms group myself previously and became discouraged with the experience I had. I would love to facilitate but I am new and would like to participate in a few groups. I believe God is still working on building me up from my experience. My first study with you ladies will be sold out and I’m excited. Do we have to sign up or anything? I downloaded the app and am happy to hear there is a free downloadable study guide. When can we purchase the booklet ?
So glad to hear you are going to be joining us, Aimee! This study is going to be great! There will be a blog post next week where facilitators with room in their groups will post the information on how to join, so make sure you have subscribed to the blog and keep an eye on your email for that post!
As far as purchasing the booklet goes, it is already available on Amazon. The links for buying it are at the bottom of the blog post (just above the graphic for the Sold Out study).
I will be praying for God to give you the strength and courage to step out as a facilitator when the time is right!
