We are one week away from our upcoming Christmas study- The Road to Christmas and we couldn’t be more excited!
Our study for the next 4 weeks will be a little lighter than normal with readings on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For those of you who are wanting a little more, no worries, we have optional readings on Tuesday and Thursday just for you!!
Now is a great time to print off the {FREE} materials provided to you for this study! When you subscribe to our blog (and don’t forget to confirm your subscription!), you will receive an email in your inbox each time a new post is submitted here on the blog. Scroll down to the very bottom of those emails, and you will find the links to the {The Road to Christmas} Study Guide and Reading Plan. The Study Guide – in journal format – is a wonderful, interactive way to record what God is teaching you throughout the study. If you’ve already subscribed in a previous study, you’re good to go!

I am having difficulty opening The Road to Christmas study guide that came in my e-mail today. I was able to open and print the reading plan, but when I try to open the study guide I get a message saying this file has been deleted or moved. I’m looking forward to doing this study. Please HELP!

Becky, they’ll be via DropBox but when you save them they’ll be PDF Files. In DropBox they are PDF files so it automatically saves it like that to your desktop. You don’t need to have a DropBox account to access them and click save. 🙂

No SOAPing for Monday?
Dede, no SOAP on Monday – that’s correct. We’ll be doing SOAP on Wednesday and Friday. Monday will be required reading. Tuesday and Thursday will be optional reading. 🙂 Hope this helps clarify.

When I try to copy the email materials, it shows on my computer but does not print out. Am I doing something wrong?
Cathy, without seeing your computer error message I’m unable to help much. BUT after you save the file to your desktop, open the PDF, then in the menu bar click File. You’ll get a drop down of a bunch of options – click Print. Then you’ll get a pop up for your printer. Make sure the correct printer is selected (I have various and often times send things to print to the wrong one!), then click Print.

I have facilitated the past three studies and have previously subscribed to the blog a long time ago, but this email does not show any links for me to download the material. I usually just do it from my facilitators formats, but wanted to get a jump on it since they are available here first. I have scrolled up and down, but it is not here. Thanks for any help you can give me!
Sharon, the links are definitely there. One of them (the Study Guide) is kicking back an error. The Reding plan link is working though. Double check to make sure the email is the one sent this morning – November 24th. The team is working behind the scenes to resolve the Study Guide error – so a resolve should be coming soon.

Ginny, the Reading Plan file has all 4 weeks listed. Do you think maybe your browser hasn’t finished loading up the file, and is only showing partial? The Study Guide file is kicking back an error and the team is working on resolving that issue.

I can not download these onto my PC and view them. Nor can I pull them up on my iPad unless I create a dropbox acct. Don’t you have them available as a pdf anymore?
Cassie, that’s so strange. I’m so sorry you’re having that issue. You do not need to have a DropBox account to download these. When you click on the links a new window will pop open (or new tab). Then hover over the bottom right hand side of the scree and you’ll see an option to save the file. Save it to your desktop then you’ll be able to print it too if you’d like. Hope this helps!

I have Gmail and the LGG emails go to my Promotions file so I have to scroll through there to find them.

I know I subscribed and if I did get the email with the link, I must of deleted it by mistake and not realize I needed to down load the files as I looked in my Drop Box and it is not there. Can someone please resend the email to me. As I tried to resubscribe and it said I was already signed up. Thank you so much.
